4-H Day at the Capitol

4-Hers from around the state will again converge around the Capitol to learn more about their government, visit historic landmarks and meet with their legislators on March 14.

We are encouraging all 4-Hers to attend so that we can connect hands around the Capitol, which means we'll need more than 200 youth to attend!

In the past, 4-H has been recognized on the floors of the House and Senate as well as having the day be proclaimed 4-H day! There will be opportunities to tour historic sites including the New State Capitol, Florida Supreme Court, Old State Capitol, Museum of Florida History and Museum of Black Archives.  At the Florida Supreme Court, 4-H’ers can participate in mock oral arguments, gaining insight into the U.S. judicial system.

Your 4-H Agent can make arrangements for the various tours. Click here for more information.
