Linda Cook
During her 30-year involvement with 4-H, Linda Cook established 4-H EFNEP and served as its state program leader, integrating its youth participants into ongoing 4-H Foods and Nutrition Programs.
Under her leadership, Florida was recognized nationally for the highest quality 4-H EFNEP Program. She spearheaded the multi-disciplinary program targeting pregnant and teen mothers, CHOICES, which was later adopted for national use.
Also active in her church, community and the Delta Kappa Gamma Education Professional Society, Linda continues to support 4-H financially and by leading the state foods and nutrition category demonstrations.
For her ongoing outstanding support of 4-H, Linda Cook has earned her place in the 2003 Class of the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame.
